BRAZILIAN STEAKHOUSE
June 06, 2014
Norwalk - A Brazilian steakhouse has joined the SoNo restaurant mix.

Restaurante da Graça has opened at 54 North Main St, offering authentic homemade dishes and Churrasqueira-style grilled food. The restaurantn opened in the space formerly occupied by Jeff's Cuisine.
According to owner and chef Grace Silva, the menu is influenced
by the traditions of Goias, the central most state in Brazil.
Silva, along her son Roni Silva, the restaurant's manager, opened for business this summer. They recently received their bar license as well. Silva said she wanted to open a "welcoming spot for lunch and dinner with an enticing Brazilian buffet and grill counter, and drinks at the back bar" Silva, came to Connecticut 20 years ago from Brazil. At the urging of her friends and family she opened
a restaurant and renovated it in a casual, low-key style. She said
the style reflects her own personality.
The open-Kitchen features meats skewered on long swords and
a rotisseries wall grill. Silva said some of the restaurant's specialities include: icanha ( top sirloin steak), Frango com Bacon (chicken wrap in bacon), and Linguiça com pimenta (Brazilian spiced sausage).
